REGIONAL GROUPS
The ISPA Board has discussed at length the importance and benefit of Regional Groups and networking within the association. While, ISPA realizes many members are currently involved in such groups, there is definitely an opportunity for growth amongst members within the local groups. Regional groups provide ISPA members the opportunity to get together throughout the year to talk and network amongst each other.
There are many exciting opportunities and great discussions/meetings that will come out of these groups. The ISPA team requests that you share any agendas, key highlights and upcoming dates from your groups so that we can populate the regional channel to best serve all members. This channel can become as resourceful as you make it with the information you choose to share with the ISPA community.
Within each group, please identify one point of contact that potential new members can reach out to for the respective group information to be displayed on the ISPA website. The success will be contingent upon your individual efforts, but ISPA is certainly here as a resource.
This is intended to be a member only opportunity; however, ISPA is constantly looking to get more people involved within the industry. Organizers may extend an invitation to nonmembers who would benefit and contribute to your regional group. However, ISPA has a requirement that any resource partner participant must be an ISPA member. If a nonmember resource partner does show interest, please direct them to the ISPA staff. Should a current member recruit someone from their regional group to become an ISPA member, ISPA is will extend $100 off either next year's membership dues or Conference registration.
