2008 ISPA Conference & Expo

ISPA Holds Another Successful Conference & Expo 

Leading spa professionals from around the world met once again at the ISPA Conference & Expo on Nov. 10-13, 2008, at the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino.  For four days, nearly 3,000 attendees gathered in Las Vegas for the spa industry's leading educational and networking event.  

Professional Development CD or MP3 Download Available

Receive the complete Conference educational experience by purchasing the ISPA Conference Professional Development Sessions as an MP3 download or as a CD.  Sessions are sold individually or as a set on CD or as a complete set as an MP3 dowload to meet your educational needs.   General Sessions will not be available for purchase through MobileTape.  However, if you would like to purchase Dewitt Jones' keynote presentation, visit his Web site.  A DVD of the presentation will be sold for $45.  Also, presentations/handouts are only available from our Professional Development Sessions.

New Research Released- Download Today

Conference attendees received a sneak peak of 2008 research data and the new ISPA Web site. As a continued investment in the spa industry and our members, ISPA is offering research released at Conference complimentary to all members!  Download the research findings such as the ISPA 2008 U.S. Spa Industry Update and the ISPA 2008 Executive Interview Findings by logging in as a member and selecting the Members Benefit pages. The ISPA 2008 Global Consumer Study will be released in January and will include separate PowerPoint presentations for 15 countries.

Inspirational Speakers & the Newest Products at the Expo

While at Conference, attendee veterans and new attendees alike were inspired by Jean Chatzky, Dewitt Jones and Sir Sidney Poitier as they each shared how they overcame struggles to realize success in their respective careers.  Throughout the week, attendees were able to choose from nearly 60 hours of Professional Development training ranging from marketing and sales to leadership and management.  Educational sessions were available for attendees at all levels of their career.  All attendees were encouraged to embrace the knowledge and tools they received at Conference for strategic planning to help make wise business decisions.    

Once again, the ISPA Expo was not to be missed.  More than 100 new products from 304 exhibitors were introduced while at the Expo.  Throughout Conference, attendees were able to see many of the industry's best products all in one convenient location, including the latest spa equipment and retail items.  During the Expo, valuable relationships were forged as exhibitors and Conference attendees were able to come together all in one place and plan for a successful new year.
