2008 ISPA Conference Speaker Application
ISPA’s goal is to provide attendees with unsurpassed education to better operate and manage their businesses, while also meeting their need for continued professional growth. The Conference speakers chosen each year are vital instruments in achieving this goal. Please read the following details carefully and click the continue button at the bottom of this page to proceed.
The 2008 ISPA Conference & Expo will be held Monday, Nov. 10 - Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nev., USA.
All proposals must be submitted via the electronic speaker application. Potential speakers are required to:
Proposals should be focused on practical solutions rather than broad overviews of a topic. Panel formats should include proposed moderator and panelists, as well as the topics each panelist will cover. ISPA encourages potential speakers to be creative in designing a presentation that fully engages the participants by including multimedia presentations, discussion questions or interactive exercises.
All valid proposals will be reviewed by the Speaker Selection Task Force, a volunteer team of ISPA spa and resource partner members. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of industry relevance, the value the session brings to spa industry professionals and the quality of the information provided in the speaker application. Replicate presentations made at other venues that fail to address the demographics of ISPA’s audience are discouraged. ISPA will notify all applicants of the final selections by May 1, 2008. All proposals will be considered and approximately 30-35 presenters will be selected.
The deadline for speaker proposal consideration is Monday, March 3, 2008. Proposals submitted after the deadline will be placed in a hold file for consideration in 2009.
