Salim Mitha        

Salim Mitha is the Chief Operating Officer and co-Founder of Wahand, a health, beauty and wellness community and marketplace. Wahanda connects consumers, wellness businesses and professionals across the globe through content (such as information on spas, salons, clinics, treatments and therapists), professional and user generated reviews, and ultimately through transactions, bookings and commerce. Wahanda is a Native American word meaning ‘great creator spirit'.Prior to Wahanda, Salim spent four years as the European Director for Yahoo! Search. Salim's primary responsibilities included product strategy, monetisation, distribution and quality for Web, Multimedia and Social Search. Salim holds an MBA from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business.  He speaks fluent Spanish and conversational French.
