| | John R. Korpi has been the driving force for the development of the ISPA and ISPA Foundation educational resources. He served as task force chair for each of the four previously published texts including the Uniform System of Financial Reporting for Spas, Retail Management for Spas, Supervisory Skill Builders and Spa: A Comprehensive Introduction and now as co-author for Financial Management for Spas. |
| John received his bachelors degree from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul Minnesota in Philosophy and in 1995 designated as Certified Hotel Administrator by the Educational Institute of AHLA. | |

Ryan Crabbe is Hilton Worldwide Senior Director of Spa Operations & Development for the Americas. In his role, Ryan launches and supports spas for the company's Waldorf=Astoria, Conrad, Hilton, Hilton Grand Vacations, and Embassy Suites brands. Hilton Worldwide also manages Golden Door and Guerlain concept spas. |
| Ryan has been an active leader in the hospitality and spa industry since 1997. Prior to joining Hilton in September 2009, Ryan founded the consulting firm Interim Spa Solutions, opened and directed spa operations for Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, and supported a number of Ritz-Carlton spas as an executive spa director. As Hilton Worldwide strengthens its spa portfolio and develops concepts to support it, Ryan's role is to optimize revenues, produce profit for owners, build guest loyalty, and inspire team members. Ryan received his BA from The University of Virginia and resides in Washington, DC near Hilton's new global headquarters in McLean, Virginia. | |
